What is wrong with cheating or adultery?
Must one always have hamburger? Why can’t someone have a steak once in a while? What’s wrong with a little variety? Isn’t variety more fun? Doesn’t it make life more interesting?
Yes, in many areas of life, variety is good and it makes life more enjoyable to have a change. However, this is never the case when it comes to cheating on a marriage mate.
Why is it called cheating? When can one make the word cheating sound acceptable? On which planet is that?
Why is it that those who don’t mind cheating, hate to be cheatedon? They like to do it but hate it if it would be done to them. The obvious answer is that it is wrong, plain and simple.
What does cheating do to a marriage? A sacred trust is broken which is very difficult to repair. The idea that the one that is loved the most in life has been untrue is almost unbearable to endure.
Is adultery ever justified?
No, it is never justified. Adulterers might think
How does God view adultery?
Adulterers will pay for cheating on their mates. Notice what God has to say in Hebrews 13:4 (Good News Translation) “Marriage is to be honored by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other. God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery.”
How will they eventually pay? They will not be any part of the Kingdom of God. (see 1 Corinthians 6:9)
How much better it is to keep all expressions of sexual love within the marriage arrangement. There is no good that comes from cheating on a marriage mate. Adultery or cheating is a must to avoid!
