There is no God. God cannot exist. God doesn’t exist. Have you heard bold statements such as that?
But what is the real reason some make such statements? Is it really that there is no proof for God’s existence?
The next time you meet such a person. Before you challenge his statements or try to offer proof to show him that God exists, get to know him better. Learn something about this person.
What kind of person is he? What is this person like? What kind of lifestyle does he lead? How does he feel about people? How does he feel about thedifferent life forms on the planet? How does he feel about the planet?
Is he a reasonable person?
Talk to him about different subjects. Does he display a reasonable amount of reasonableness?
Is he an unselfish person?
Does he only think mostly about himself? Is he generous towards others? Does he care for other people? Does he care for those that are disadvantaged? Is he a caring person? Does he respect other people? Does he care for himself and others? Will he share what he has with those in need?
Or is he very opinionated? Does he have feelings of superiority over other people? Does he think he knows better than anyone else on almost any subject?
Is he an honest person?
Does he display a high amount of honesty? Does he avoid lying? Does he love the truth? Is he eager and cares about finding the truth?
If the answers to most of these questions are on the positive side then by all means continue talking to him about whether God exists. Ask him why he has concluded that there is no God.
He just needs some convincing proof and there is plenty of that. He can be reasoned with and he will eventually be convinced that there is a God and that God is real!
