Do Not Let Discouragement Demoralize You (part Two)

There is no need to let discouragement demoralize us into defeat. Yes, the battle against discouragement can be won. Yes, God can help us gain the victory over any weakness. God is more powerful than any weakness or enemy. The question is; what is our desire? Do we want to win or do we want to lose?

The desire is ours. If we have the right desire than nothing can stop us from winning in time, not even discouragement.

Where does discouragement come from?

It comes from losers, like Satan the Devil. It never comes from winners, like Jesus Christ, Abraham, Moses or

the apostle Paul.

Winners are winners because they don’t believe in losing; they don’t listen to anyone that is trying to discourage them. They look for a coach that will spur them on to victory. They look for companions that will encourage them forward and believe in them.

What is the remedy to discouragement?

1) God can forgive everything we have done until a second ago, if we want his forgiveness and want to start to make positive changes in our lives. No, he will not remove the consequences that will result from what

we have done. If we have hurt someone badly, they may never be able to get over it in this world but they will in the next so it is worthwhile to makes changes, again if that is want we want to do. However, God will support us in our efforts and we will be relieved and refreshed. We will eventually feel a lot better. Remember the prodigal son?

2) Instead of doing destructive things and having destructive thoughts, we can build better things in our minds and hearts.

3) There is a New World coming where weaknesses will disappear. Negative forces that encourage badness and evil will be gone.

4) We can find joy even now as we make positive changes.

So, don’t let anyone take away from you the gift of a good conscience, a good relationship with God and everlasting life. You can do it so don’t let anyone including discouragement from demoralizing you!
