Who has not enjoyed eating a banana split or a peanut butter and banana toasted sandwich? They are very pleasing to the palate but not the healthiest ways of eating bananas. What are some delightful and healthy ways of eating bananas?
A lot of health problems arise because people do not combine foods properly.  The reason the two recipes mentioned are not the healthiest way of eating bananas is that they are unnatural ways of combining bananas. Fruits are best eaten by themselves or combined with other foods that make digestion easier instead of harder.
Here are a few healthy combinationsof eating bananas:
Bananas can be eaten by themselves. You might just peel and eat and there is nothing wrong with that. You might also peel, slice the banana on a plate, take a fork and eat it fancifully. You might just enjoy a meal of only bananas which is very healthy and easy to digest.
You might peel a banana, place it on a leaf of your favorite green lettuce and eat it as a sandwich. Bananas and lettuce combine very well. Other vegetables that combine well with bananas and make a healthy combination are: celery, cucumber, and any green leafy vegetable.

So you might combine bananas, peaches, celery, lettuce and cucumber or bananas, fresh dates, celery and lettuce.
Here are a few points to note:
* Fruit should always be eaten when ripe.
* How would Adam and Eve eat their bananas? Adam lived to be 930 years. That’s right! (See Genesis 5:5.)
* All fruits can be eaten with celery, leafy greens, and cucumber. 
The above examples in no way exhaust all the different healthy ways of eating bananas. Use your imagination and I’m sure you can come up with other delightful and healthy ways of enjoying the great health benefits of enjoying bananas each and every day.
