If God brings us to it then he can bring us through it! Do you believe that God can get us through anything that comes our way? Do you have that assurance?
Is that not the assurance that God gives us in 1 Corinthians 10:13? To get the full flavor of that verse, read it from different translations. God can help us though anything. God can help us carry any load. How?
The apostle Paul was one who had many heavy responsibilities as a servant of God. He faced many trials. He often found himself facing persecution. Yet, in spite of everythinghe faced, he stated in Philippians 4:13 (ESV) ”I can do all things through him who strengthens me. “ God’s strength helped Paul get through so much. It is the recipe for handling any problem of handling any task.
God can give us what we need to meet any challenge. He is not limited in any way or hindered by anything or anyone.
Have you ever received an assignment from God where you felt overwhelmed?
We are now going to look at a few examples of Gods servants that also felt that way and how God helped them to fulfill their assignments.
Moses’ assignment was to go to speak to Pharaoh, the leader of a world empire, about setting God’s people free. Let’snote Moses’ reaction and also God’s assurance in Exodus 4:10-12. Moses said that he couldn’t do it, that he was not a capable speaker. God reassured him of his power, and told him that he was going to teach him what to say and how to say it.
Jeremiah felt that he was just a boy to handle the task of being a prophet amongst a difficult and disobedient people. (Jeremiah 1:6) God reassured Jeremiah of his backing. Both Moses and Jeremiah were able the enormous tasks that they were given.
So when any task is given us by God or any problem comes our way, let’s have the confidence that with God’s help we will be able to meet it. God never leaves those that put faith and put their trust in him. If God allows something to come our way, then we can rest assured that he will also provide what we need to deal with it successfully. So let’s pray, get busy, do our best and God will provide whatever we need to fulfill every assignment.
