Can The Dead Live Again, Will They?

Can the dead live again? The joyful and comforting answer to that question is YES! Yes, the dead can live again!

Will all the dead live again?

While most of the dead will live again, not all of the dead will live again. Some will be judged by God as too wicked to live again. Who are those? That is God’s decision. Since we cannot say with certainty at this time, it is best to wait and see. Then we will know for sure.

You see; if everyone was given another chance, then we could do anything now and then straighten out in

the new life. The world is already bad as it is. Imagine what it would be like if everyone did whatever they wanted without regard for any law?

What is most important to us now is: will we live again should we die?

Since not all will be brought back to life again, it would be best for us to learn to enjoy living a godly life as of today. After all, living by God’s commandments is the best and most beneficial way to live, so why not start now? Any seeming advantage or pleasure obtained by breaking God’s laws is only a delusion. Such thinking has no substance. A temporary, brief advantage or pleasure is actually harmful on many levels.

Will the resurrection be in heaven or on earth?

A few will go to heaven

and the majority will be brought back to life in a paradise earth. Let’s put it this way for now. If you were given a free all-expense paid vacation, would we quibble where it was? Would it matter that much whether it was by a mountain or by a lake?

The promise: the dead will live again.

Here are two Scriptures from the Old Testament and two from the New Testament as proof that the dead can live again. If God makes the promise then it is guaranteed to happen. (Isaiah 26:19, Job 14:14-15, John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15)

The proof: the resurrection is proof that the dead will live again.

Here are Scriptures that show actual resurrections as proof that the dead can live again. These actual resurrections show that God has no problem bringing the dead back to life. (1 Kings 17:17-24, 2 Kings 13:20-21, Mark 5:41-42, John 11:43-44)

It is comforting to know that the dead can live again. So why not read the Holy Bible daily and find out what other puzzling questions are answered within its many pages.
